Access My Info (AMI) is live since 2014. It is a web based access request letter generator developed by Citizen Lab and Open Effect that enables Canadian citizens to find out what a variety of different companies know about them. The tool makes industry specific access request letters for three industries: online dating, fitness trackers and telecommunications. In 2016 a Hong Kong based version was released.

Citizen Lab published Approaching Access: A comparative analysis of company responses to data access requests in Canada in 2018. In this report they analyse the use of the right of access in Canada in general, as well as specific findings for the three sectors online dating, fitness trackers and telecommunications.
